Rock City's Enchanted MAiZE has partnered with the Girl Scouts of Southern Appalachia this year for a pumpkin painting contest. Pumpkins will be judged based on creativity and one will be awarded Best in Show. All of the pumpkins will be on display throughout the entire fall event.
Congratulations to Troop 40204 for their winning pumpkin:
Michael Brandt, local artist who has been awarded Rock City's 2011 outdoor sculpture commission, judged the Girl Scout's pumpkin painting contest at the Enchanted Maze and has chosen Troop #40204. They painted a big, blue pumpkin with a big smile that is really great! Michael said, "I think the troop took a gamble with the pumpkin by going blue. It really is different than all the others and I love the originality of the flower hat!"
